In an effort to reduce traffic and parking congestion on Kauaʻi's north shore, a new shuttle service running from Princeville to Hanalei has been launched. The free Aliʻi Kai Shuttle is comprised of two services: a Princeville Shuttle that starts at the Aliʻi Kai resort, with stops at the Cliffs, Bali Hai, Kaeo Kai, Hanalei Bay Resort, Makai Golf Course, and the Makai Club, ending at the Princeville Shopping Center (8AM to 3PM every half hour); and a Hanalei Activities Shuttle, which picks up passengers at the same resorts and stops at the Hanalei town center twice in the morning to drop guests off for boat tours. Return trips from Hanalei are being offered at no charge by the recently launched North Shore Shuttle back to Princeville after an adventurous day at Hanalei.
